ICYMI: FCC Commissioner Urges Commission Leadership To Take Center for American Rights’ Complaints Seriously

Chicago, IL- Federal Communications Commission Commissioner, Nathan Simington, urges Commission leadership to take the Center American Rights’ FCC complaints against NBC and CBS seriously.

“Legacy media outlets have no one to blame but themselves for the record number of Americans who have lost trust in their reporting”, said Daniel Suhr, President of the Center for American Rights.

“When broadcasters manipulate interviews, distort reality, and promote only one candidate the weekend before the presidential election, it undermines democracy itself. We appreciate the seriousness Commissioner Simington is taking our complaints and urge the commission to act swiftly to restore public confidence in our news media.”

The Center for American Rights has been at the forefront of defending election integrity and media accountability. The latest complaint against NBC alleging a willful violation of the equal time rule following VP Kamala Harris’ appearance on SNL only days before the election follows recent actions against ABC News and CBS News for biased coverage favoring the Vice President.
